AWARD-WINNING ONLINE FLORIST IN BRIDGNORTH

Bridgnorth is a town in Shropshire where the River Severn divides it into High Town on the right bank and Low Town on the left bank. Bridgnorth has a number of notable attractions. The Castle Hill Railway is a funicular railway that links the high and low towns and is the steepest and only inland railway of its type in England. The ruins of Bridgnorth Castle, built in 1101, stand in the town, and as a result of damage incurred during the English Civil War, the castle is inclined at an angle of 15 degrees. High Town is dominated by two churches. The Church of St. Mary Magdalene, built in the classic style of the late 18th century, is still used for worship. St. Leonard's was a Royal Peculiar (exempt from the jurisdiction of the diocese) until 1856; it has been largely rebuilt, is in the care of the Churches Conservation Trust, and is used for community functions. Bishop Percy's House on the Cartway was built in 1580 and has been a Grade 1 listed building since 18 July 1949. Other notable buildings in the town are the 17th century half-timbered Bridgnorth Town Hall, the Northgate, a town gate which houses the museum, and Daniel's Mill, a well-known watermill situated a short distance along the River Severn. The remains of an old hermitage can be seen from the high town, commonly called The Queens Parlour. One local legend tells of its occupation in AD 925 by a hermit called Ethelred or Ethelwald, a grandson to Alfred the Great.

Such history going back to the earliest medieval times awakens the spirit. The beauty of flowers can also awaken the spirit. These delicate, special blossoms that you send to someone you love have their own 'language'. You probably knew that a single full bloom rose means 'I love you'. But did you know that the violet symbolises modesty, the snowdrop is for hope, white lily signifies purity and sweetness, and the cherry blossom spiritual beauty? At ByBloom.co.uk, our florists in Bridgnorth know that every flower has its own symbolism and their in-depth understanding of the language of flowers ensures your bouquet or your floral creation, says what you want it to say. Whether it's a birthday, wedding, anniversary, or you just want to send a message telling a friend how wonderful they are (geraniums symbolise true friendship), our florists in Bridgnorth turn your thoughts into something truly special. Finally, all of our creations are 100% plastic-free and entirely sustainable - a message in itself. Need we say more?
