Kirriemuir, known locally as Kirrie, is located in Angus, Scotland. Kirriemuir’s most famous resident was J.M. Barrie, the author of Peter Pan – born and buried here, and his birthplace is now owned by the National Trust of Scotland. A statue of Peter Pan stands in the town square.
