Royal Red Tulips

The official flower of the Netherlands, Royal Red tulips originated in Central Asia and their name comes from the Persian word for turban because, in full bloom, tulips have a turban-like shape.

Commonly understood to mean love, each colour varies their meaning - our Royal Red symbolise Happiness and Friendship - but with an entire rainbow of possibilities, there is a tulip variety for every occasion. Tulips instil utter joy at every turn and as a short-stemmed flower variety, are best displayed in a low vase.
